Hi all,

Thought I'd make a post as I am still waiting for AF! Over 3 weeks late now and due my next period soon!! Crazy!

I haven't got a BFP yet just those depressing BFN!

Just wanted to ask, I have been using some cheap ebay preg tests and wondered if I should either wait and see if my next AF arrives or go and buy a better preg test like clearblue or something???????

Has anyone ever taken a cheap test and got BFN and then taken a brand name test and got their BFP almost straight away????

Please reply to this post as I really need some advice from you ladies!!!!!

P.S I am still getting some AF like cramps on and off (have been for over 3 weeks now)! No spotting other than the tiny bit i had on the day I was due AF, been a little tired not alot but a bit more than usual, had lower backache for over 3 weeks now too and has been really bad today! Have been feeling a little bit sick on and off for a while now!

Whats going on???? Can anyone help me???

I think that the cheapies are even more sensitive than the more expensive brands hun TBH. I think they detect somthing like 10MG (or whatever lol) and the clearblue one 25MG.

good luck - again generally cheapies are more sensitive (though more prone to mistakes too from what we've seen on here )

BUT some women don't process HcG in their urine - have you been to the doctors and asked for a blood test

I found I got a much darker line from a clear blue than from the ebay cheapies so it could be worth a try. I think a blood test would be the best solution though. Good luck

I went to the doc's about a week and a half ago and was told I had to wait until I missed another period before they would do a blood test

Very annoying as I just want a blood test so I know either way!

Still no sign of AF today and another BFN this morning.......

My back is killing me today and I feel sooooo tired

Just wanted to say good luck, I am 1 week over due and it is really frustrating. I keep getting BFNs as well( having said that i did a test yesterday and the back ground was all light pink the control line was dark pink as normal and then there was a white line where test line is but I think the lines are meant to be both pink) Did another test this morning to a BFN

If I was you I would maybe get a different brand of test just to see.(POAS Addict in the making)

I used the cheap tests off ebay and got a BFP. Then went to tesco and bought a couple of clearblue tests but that was about 2 days after I'd got a faint line on the cheap tests.

Make sure you test with your first pee of the day, waiting a couple of days can make a difference as the hormones will be stronger.
