I have the same. brown spotting started saturday night (5 weeks 6 days pregnant) continued in the morning the next day and very little brownish waterish mucus the entire sunday. it stopped today in the morning and got some red spotting when I got back from picking up my son with the bike, I phoned my midwife and she said they won't do anything necause it is too early for an ultrasound and even if they would see something it wouldn't say anything about the next weeks because it is still trimester one. I am so scared and not feeling well. she said old blood (brown) wasn't an issue and could be from a tiny blood vein that broke because there is more blood close to the service nowl I had intercourse 24 hours before it started so it could be the case and perhaps today from straining a bit (I am very obstipated). she said not too worry and to phone again when it gets bright red and a lot more. I don't leak blood now but everytime I wipe I see some brownish very diluted blood. hope it goes away soon I am not allowed to have a scan before our first intake appointment (which is at 8,5 weeks) and before 10 weeks it won't be insured, so basically I need to wait at least 4 weeks to see if all is well. I was about to burst into tears with this news.
