coughing (me)

i've got a throat infection & went to the docs on tues night & was prescribed penicillin 4 x a day for 10 days, never had these before normally would have Amoxicillin.
anyway my throat seems to have got 10 times worse & now i have got a terrible cough & couldn't sleep last night coz i was coughing so badly

have got some Benillin & keep coughing everything up to get rid of it, but i'm dreading going to bed coz i know its gonna be cough, cough, i get a tickle in my throat & then i cough badly.
has anyone got any tips on how to sleep & stop coughing?

Aww I hate trying to sleep when I have a cough, I really feel for you. Try a spoonfull of runny honey when your throat gets tickly, it sometimes helps. I hope you feel better soon

ooo.. boil lemonade to get rid of the bubbles and pop a spoonful of honey in it. mmm.........

My feel better remedy for ANYTHING! lol

I always take buttercup syrup when i get anything throat/cough related..
