Hiya
I only ever used mine for putting clean ironing on!
-They are a good idea, but I found that because the cot was by my bed, I often changed Ky on my bed.
If his cot was in the nursery, I may have used it rather than the floor.
i have got one, and still have. they are nice. and they can be useful but they are heavy at times but very useful at the beginning.
lauren is 8 months next week, and i haven't used it for about three months.
also depends what end you put your little one at.
I have one but its a bit different, its just like a stiff changing mat with sides on and feet to stop it slipping. I think it was only about £20 from babies r us and i love it. i used to use it all the time but now i just use it for when she has a bath. i find it very useful!
I have bought this exact one... My nursery is small and there is no room for a seperate changing unit.... I hope I get use out of it as it cost me £50!!!!
I have got one, and I use it all the times! I did not at the beginning, for maybe 2 months, because I would change maheen on the floor, but then, I wanted to chnage her in her room, to get her into a routine, and make her understand there is a place for everything and living-room is NOT for nappies!!!!!!!
anyway, I use it for every nappy change. love mine.
I change Charlie on my bed. It's more comfortable to sit, and not lean over something, and if I tried to do it on the floor, my old joints wouldn't let me get up again!!!!
I bought this one in Mothercare today for £20..http://www.mothercare.com/gp/product/B0 ... 8&mcb=core
Havent got space in nursery for changing unit, and wasnt going to bother but after helping my sis changing her newborn the past few weeks, its easier change at waist height (especially for me at the mo being so heavily PG!!)
Its not heavy, and can tuck away under cot when not in use
Oh poo, did my link not work?? did you see the Mothercare one?
Honestly, its great, I am made up with it and even OH is impressed, and he is normally critical of my bargain buys!!
i have a changing unit i use allll the time mornings to get was kids washed and dressed and night times after baths. and some times for dirty nappies. i love it they are only ment to be used for up to 12 months but Dior still gets changed on it lol
i also have a cot top changer too its a lovely lemon one i got it from a car boot for £2
i use that in Harleys room as his room is to smal for a changing station so if Dior is asleep i use the cot top changer. i love them easier then on the floor
