Cot bumpers

Hiya,
Im 32 weeks pregnant and wondering whether or not to get a cot bumper, ive read that they can increase the risk of cot death but then ive also read that it actually lowers the risk :

Any advice would be appreciated

hi hun i used a bumper set on bothe Adeles cradle and her cot and im now using one on Colbys cot, i tucked it under the matress as they were always at the bottom of it anyway so they couldnt riggly under the covers but as Adele got Older i did find she would pull at it and most of them only have ties at the top i sewed some on at the bottom too just so she couldntget it off. Im sure my sister told me you could get ones with ties at both top and bottom but i couldnt find any and it was cheaper just to sew a few extra bits onto it.

I bought one and found it pointless as Dom is at the other end of the cot so his head goes no where near it !

So I have a brand new Winnie one is your want it

i never used mine either, as his head is far way from it as you said.

I haven't bothered now as he is quite mobile so i'm more worried about him getting tangled in it now. and he's more likely to bump his head now anyway!
