Cot Bumpers

Hiya,
Im 32 weeks pregnant, due july 26th! Ive got everything I need for the baby but am undecided whether or not to get a cot bumper. Ive read in places that it increases the chance of cot death and then read in other places that it actually lowers the risk :
Have you, or are you going to get a cot bumper?

I've had a cot bumper with my 2 but not the quilt. If it wasn't for that she would of had bruises all over her head by now.

i had one with kurt, i didnt with beth but that was only because i forgot to buy one but i have remembered to buy one this time round n have bought beth one now too

i think its down to personal preference there is so much conflicting advice on all sorts of different things, its probably best to go with your gut instinct rather than read up on everything about everything if you know what i mean.

i've bought one, although not planning to put bab in the cot till it's a few months old... but i'd think that the padding around a moses basket is similar to a cot bumper...
