Cot Bumper?

Hello,

Just about to order our cot. Charlie will soon be too big for his moses basket. I seem to recall reading some time ago about not using cot bumpers with young babies.

Was just wondering if anyone knew from what age they are safe to use.

Also, anyone got any advise on moving baby out of his moses basket into a cot?

They say you shouldn't use bumpers or quilts until baby is a year old. I didn't listen to it though, I've got a bumper and quilt on Dylan's crib and will get them for his cot next week when he moves into that.

Not sure about moving from moses basket into cot - D's going from crib to cot so I don't really think there will be much of a difference for him. I'm just going to follow the same routine that I do just now but hopefully I'll be strong and make sure he sleeps in it all the time because I still like to bring him in with me if he stirs
