Hi I'm hoping one of you lot can help me as I'm useless in the kitchen!

Just a couple of questions really! If I have cooked some chicken, do I have to wait for it to cool right down before freezing it?

Also, when it comes to heating it again from frozen, is it safe to heat it in the microwave?

Sorry I know the answers are probably obvious!

i know it has to be cold to go in fridge so id say yes cold to go in freezer.

not stupid q's u gotta be extremely careful with chicken :)

as for heating in micro i dunno.

Hi,
Yes it has to be cold to go in the freezer otherwise it lowers the temp for everything else.
You can defrost it in the microwave first, then heat it up if you like.
Hth, it's what I do anyway and I've not poisoned any1 yet!!

Yes defo has to be cold to be frozen & when reheating it will need to be defrosted first & then heated because if you just heat it, it may not cook inside properly & it will go dry!
