I have been trying to get into cooking from scratch but always needing to ask questions. So I thought I would make a thread for me to ask the experts and for others to ask too. Also if anyone has tried some yummy recipes then post :D

First question:
I have made a cauliflower cheese. Is it ok to leave on the side until it is ready to go in the oven at 6? I should have checked the time :/ lol

Put the cauliflower cheese in the fridge it will be fine to cook later.

I hate cooking but my husbands a trainer chef so does all the meals thankfully but any questions I'll ask him to help lol

Thank you!! Ooo I wish I had a hubby that could cook...I daren't let my partner in the kitchen. And I wouldn't eat his food lol.

Luckily he is on washing up duty instead ;) haha.

It's good that he cooks but Iv become a bit of a food snob from it.
Pastas are nice and easy, great for summer (if we get one) and usually popular with kids.

Has anyone tried making bolognaise in a slow cooker before? I bunged it all in at lunch time, but I've never done it in the slow cooker so I hope it turns out ok!
