Contractions question..

Feel a bit daft asking, but just curious for when the time comes..

What did yours feel like?

Is it like menstrual type cramps? Or just tummy pain?

Neither really. When the time comes you'll know. Early ones feel a bit like intermittent bad period pain but I can't find a word to describe them in later labour. They don't feel like anything I've experienced before but they hurt. A LOT!

If you have had a braxton hicks it is like that but with bad period type pains too, if you havnt had a bh it is your tummy going rock hard and painfull at the same time, i dont know how else to describe it
