Contraction type cramps....

Started to get these yesterday afternoon and it really freaked me out.. I was out walking the dog [I had been at hospital all day for check up appointments] and I found it so hard to walk.. reminded me of the pain I had when I m/c... but milder, like an AF cramp across lower abdomen and tops of legs.. very similar to the start of my m/c.... was sooo anxious.

I managed to get home very very slowly and put my feet up for rest of evening and heard heartbeat and felt a few bubble movements from Bodette in there but just very worried about what may have caused the pains.

Didn't feel like the stretching type of pains I have had before but maybe they were...

Anyone else had such cramps?

Could be Braxton hicks hun - I had these very early on too from about 20 weeks (even though GP said it was doubtful!).
Try not to worry about them, but if you get more than 4 an hour it's best to speak to MW about then just to check xx

I never had braxton hicks with my daughter so have no idea what these are like, but I have had these pains Anna Marie.

Sometimes they even take my breath away, and on one occasion, I was halfway up the stairs at work and had to sit down!

They are not nice, and definitely scary, but as far as I know, totally normal.

I just think maybe I overdid it yesterday.. usually at work I can sit most of day but with hospital and m/w visits yesterday and dog walking as soon as I got back home I hardly sat all day.. hope it was my body's way of telling me to take it easy.. but of course remembering similar pains from last year's m/c it really upset me..

Tankett.. how are you feeling.. gastro flu all gone? Hope all is well and you and OH are feeling much better!

sounds like braxton hicks or maybe you hasve over done it! how do you feel now? have the pains gone? is it like tighening across your stomach (under your belly button)? my friend who recently gave birth suffered with braxton hicks early on....

i some time forget i'm pregnant (with this bump in front - i don't know how!) but i'll find myself running up stair... half way up i'm like an old woman!!!! hanging onto the rail...

Anna-Marie soiunds very much like Braxton Hicks contractions to me, I have been having then for a while now too and yeah they freaked me out when they first happened too, now I get worrie dif I don't feel them!!
