Hello everyone.
I did my routine urine test when I went to see my midwife. The result came as contaminated. Did it again and still the results are same. Now they want me to do it for the third time.
I'm fedup and worried as well that is everything ok with the baby ? Is this normal or something to worry about?
Please help. Really anxious 😒

Saw this post on another site hun regarding contamination
Hope it might put your mind at ease
If your worried please rind midwife or doctors for a explanation hun
Hope all is ok next time for you x

My doctor told me that when a urine test comes back contaminated, it's contaminated with bacteria that should not be there. When I did my first one, it came back contaminated and now I have to do a second one so that they can determine whether or not the bacteria is from an outside source like the skin around my lady parts, or something like that, or if it's bacteria on the inside meaning a possible infection, which she said pregnant women are more susceptible to, and that would be something that they would treat with antibiotics. I'm not sure why they would make you do it more than twice though!

Thank you Hun. When I rang my midwife last time, she said there's no infection.
Still they want me to repeat the test. When I did second time and rang to find out the result. They said its contaminated but doctors are not worried.

Now I'm fedup and don't want to do third time. I just want to enjoy my last few weeks. Is it bad of me to think like that ? 😒

No of course not hun
Could be as simple as the pot wasn't perfectly sterile or anything small got in there
Just relax and try to enjoy your last few weeks hun sure all will be ok x
