Confussed about my baby bump !!!

Ladies please could you tell me what you think as I keep getting different opinions on my bump lots say its big and then lots say its small for 20weeks( 21 in a few days ) im a size 8-10 and im 5'5 so im only ickle.



Please let me know what you think

 

I would say small outways, but your bump is all the way up to your bust, bumps don't have to be big outwards for baby growing well. My bump was a bit bigger at 20 weeks, but I had a proper round bump which looked like a footballl in my tummy.

Don't worry hun, bumps are all shapes and sizes xxx

thank you sami I feel abit better now was getting worried that the baby wasnt growing well, I have my 21 weeks scan this wed and im so worried they are gonna say something is wrong

I think its quite average, mine suddenly grew after 20 weeks and took on a real pregnancy shape and everyone kept saying I was big, I now get told its neat and small! You might have a growth spurt soon, I think there is a growth spurt around 21-22 weeks. I definitely found mine grows in spurts! Don't take too much notice of what other people say, most of my friends who have kids say that women would always say that they were much bigger than when they were pregnant, I'm sure a lot have a selective memory!

Hi Tasha, I feel the same as you. My bump is smaller than yours (I am 19 weeks) and everybody I meet says I am really small and you can't really tell I am pregnant at all. I too started to get worried that at my scan in a couple of weeks, they are going to say the baby isn't growing properly. I am sure everything is fine for both of us and we are going to really appreciate our smaller bumps in a few months! Good luck at your scan, let me know how it goes.

You've got a loverly bump there hun, dont worry yourself about it.

When I was pregnant with my first I wasnt showing until 5 months and I was still a size 10. I had a 9lb 10 1/2 baby ...so its nothing to do with bump size, it think it all depends on where you are carrying it.

My bumps still not very hard (just fat lol) and im coming up to 7 months.

That looks perfect tasha seeing as you are such a tiny build and this is your first baby and probably have good stomach muscles (lucky devil ) xx

i agree with that completely, when i had my daughter 10 yrs ago i was 19 & weighed about 8 stone & didnt really show till i was about 6 months gone!

you look great, enjoy not being huge, believe me when you are as big as me & budge you'll know it!!!
