Since we began trying over a year ago my cycles have got more and more eratic - ranging from 24 to 40 day cycles, never have a clue when im ovulating (dont seem to have any CM thats eggwhite - only more like toothpaste) and its really starting to pee me off!

We're going back to docs after xmas, but has anyone had the same problem?

Hello,

I have not been trying to conceive for very long but my last three cycles have been 29, 33 and 35 days.

Hope all goes well with docs, sorry to hear how frustrated you are.

Don't suppose you know anything about temps?

Becs

Hi Becs

Yep frustrated is one word for it, desperation is starting to set in now which ive tried my hardest to keep at bay, we both have.

I dont know much about temps im afraid, i bought a thermometer a while ago but it was the wrong kind - I believe a digital one is needed to give an accurate reading as the differences are so small!

Im going shopping tomorrow so I might buy one then and start charting my temps.

I havnt really bothered before because we are at it all the time so didnt really feel the need to, and we have got pregnant twice in the last year bad sadly lost them both very early on.

I just want a baby, so badly.

I never seemed to get any ewcm either, but I took the magic medicine and that month I had alot of what I would call watery cm. I'd give the magic medicine a go.

I thought charting was good to do for a couple of months just to see when i oved (and if!) but it can make you a bit obsessed. Once I knew what my pre and post ov temps were I stoped doing it every day and charting, and just checked a few times in the middle and end of the cycle to see what was going on. The doctor said that as long as you were bding every other day, you wouldn't miss the opportunity, and she didn't recommend charting (she thinks I'm highly strung!) but relaxing with a couple of glasses of wine!

All the best
Andrea
