Confused

So yesterday morning I got a positive ovulation strip and my app read it as a high 182 LH anyway I tested 4 hours later as it suggested but it was then only picking up 58 LH I'm so confused, I tested the day before and it was only a faint line so negative it's the first time using them so I don't know what's just happened

This was yesterday mornings strip when it said 182 LH...

I think you just have a short surge like me I caught mine at about 9. 30 and by 1.30 it was already a little lighter again... You will prob ovulate today. Good luck x

That's how mine looked too was faint got stronger then peaked then got lighter again. I have only done it this month but looks very like mine. X

Oooo well I hope it was ovulation! fingers crossed

I wouldn’t go by that app hun. It picks up different levels depending on the light in the room etc so don’t let that confuse you.
Just stick to using just your eyes when reading the opks. If the test line is darker or the same colour than the control line then that is your peak and you will ovulated within 12-24 hours.

By the looks on that photo would you say I ovulated? i only have a cycle of 25 days on average that's why I'm only on CD9.. don't wanna waste money on ovulation kits if it's past.. I did get some stringy cm sorry TMI yesterday evening too x

Hey!! I’m thinking u have a short surge like me. I’ve been tracking and trying for 2 years (was with frozen donor sperm but now I have a known donor so high hopes and I’m 2 dpi) but anyway I usually go from a negative strip and blank circle on digital to a solid smiley and blazing strip by that evening I’m thinking since u didn’t test after 350 pm u may have surged right after, I usually test 4-5 times throughout the day with a digital and strip so I don’t miss it since over time I’ve confirmed my short surge.

I really hope so because I was so excited to find out I was ovulating I was having lots of cramps before hand and now they've eased off so I'm hoping! and aww well I hope it all goes well for you and you get a BFP soon x

I was reading through your thread and I think that’s what it is! I think u dtd at the right times and I have those same symptoms around Ovulation I usually cramp right before and I even spot a lil when my egg is released. Thanks for the well wishes were praying this is the last dreaded TWW ugh I have tried sooooo much and it’s hard to stay positive especially after 2 years. But my only goal and aspiration in life is to be a Mom! I’ve accomplished many things finance and educational wise but I don’t think none of them amount to this. Good luck I think u ovulated have u tried temping? I did it for 1 year but it’s stressful sul and I stopped a couple months back

Thank you! And temping Is using a basal body thermometer I used to do it vaginally since I’m a mouth breather, and take my temp every morning before moving out of bed u chart it and that’s the for sure way to know when exactly u ovulated
