Confused - more help please!

Hi ladies,

Please can you help?

Today AF was due (after 50 days - last two cycles the witch has turned up on day 50!) but she is yet to appear.

That said, I have been doing some research about OV, symptoms, when it is likely to be etc and in my new wisdom, I am now 90% convinced I was ovulating Sunday/Monday this week. Have also had some tummy pains (not as bad as AF pains), as well as feeling quite sick in the evenings, sometimes in the morning (only queasy though). Does this sound like when you OV?

So now I am confused... how can I be ovulating this week when my AF is due the same week? Can I ovulate more than once between cycles? Eeeek! I just don't get it, and now am I going to be waiting another 2 weeks for AF?

Any advice appreciated.

Hi hun im not much of an expert on the ttc thing yet this is our first cycle of ttc but I have had 2 daughters and what you are describing sounds more like pregnancy symptoms than ov symptoms have you done a hpt yet? if not i wold do that first you never no you might get a suprise BFP.

OMG really? I did a HPT too early and got a BFN

Think it may be early from first point of conception though (earliest BD was 2 October)

The only way you can be certain when you ovulate is with OPKs and with an unusual cycle length like yours i would suggest using them.

If you did ovulate on Sun/Mon then it does suggest that you have another week or two wait for AF.

I guess it could be pregnancy related but if you are late for your period then a HPT should pick it would.

When did you test?

Only after a week - in my excitement (and naivety!) Just tested again (got excited - again)... BFN!

Hmm, if you just tested and got a BFN i'm afraid it looks like your just waiting for AF to show up while testing every couple of days just incase

Well it must have been that you just ovulated really late then and your cycle this month is even longer or just that its still too early to test! not too sure hun x

God, it's a nightmare isn't it? I am quite positive I ovulated (from what I've seen) so who knows, either way, I feel I've got a long wait to find out if it's AF or PG!
