Hey all where do i start
So about 2 weeks ago i became nauseous, tired , had white spots on nipples/lumps , dull cramping in left side (these symptoms are all still here) i took a CB early detection about 9 days ago and after 4-5 mins a faint line appeared (very faint) took 2 cheapos day after and both N ,
I decided to wait till period due which was tuesday just gone , still no sign of period , another cheapo N today , But still so many signs to say i am ? Really getting me down :/ just wondering if anyone else had N a few days after period due ? And when would you suggest i re test ? Thanks

Hi and welcome
Were the cheap tests also sensitive/early detection tests? After the initial faint line you may have tested with an after missed period test and therefore it probably wouldn’t pick up the lower amounts of hormone.

It may also have been what is termed a chemical pregnancy where the process begins and for one reason or another failed to continue. This is why I suppose it is preferred to wait until the missed period to save the difficulty when lines either fade away to negative or you just don’t get another positive test.

Are you cycles regular? even if they are you could just be having a longer one this month, therefore you may not actually be late and could go on to get that positive test.

There’s so much in this ttc merry go round and most of it seems to be designed to drive us ladies beyond the point of distraction!!

I would wait to test for couple of days, but use a FRER they are my favoured test and I feel far less likely to mess with your head even more.

Sorry if I’ve waffled abit but I hope it’s of some help, being on here there are so many ladies with their stories and some include negatives that go on to a positive test much later than what was thought.

Thankyou so much for responding , The cheapos where "early detect" but im never sure if to rely on them ? Ok im going to hold out until im a week late , then get a FRER . Thanks again x

I fell pregnant last august which resulted in a miscarriage... However, I took a test 2 days before my period was due as we were going away for the weekend and I wanted to know if I could drink... I still hadn't come on a week later so took a test and a very faint line came up. So that was 5 days after my period was due and it only showed a faint line. Each pregnancy is different and each brand of test is different!

Congratulations LA2018!!- just have a quick question as i am in a similar position (4 days late and feeling waves of nausea over past 4 days- never had this before and I'm not ill as feel ok other than this). I have done various tests with IC but looking at the brand it is 25 miu so maybe I need to test using more sensitive test. How many days late were you when you got your BFP and do you have regular cycles? x

So sorry hun for late reply i had not seen message , I was 3 days after my Period was due when i got positive , by 5 days it was so dark.. How you getting on ? Any news ?
