I'm 21 weeks now and I'm finding it very hard to get comfortable, I have a pregnancy pillow and have tried that in various positions under my leg inbetween my leg behind my back under my bump and nothing helps, I've been up most of night as the pain in my hip is a killer, I've even tried sleeping up but the pressure on my back is intense! Ended up getting up and walking around a few times to try and ease it, I'm not going in to work today sod it too much bending down to get plates and food out for breakfast for all residents and if I need to wash and dress anyone that will be interesting- any advice would be appreciated xx

not much advice I'm afriad, I was the same my last pregnancy where i was just so uncomfortable i dont think i slept an hour straight in the entire last trimester! I can only encourage you if that is the case for you, that when the baby comes, getting a full couple of hours sleep at a time in comfort feels like a dREAMM!!! After i gave birth everyone was saying "you must be so tired" and I was like "I feel GREAT compared to when I was pregnant" LOL!! It really made the 'sleepless nights' of a newborn a doddle in comparison!

None! No position is comfortable I feel exactly the same at the moment. I'm a nurse and I'm finding it hard getting people dressed etc too as my hips are so sore.
SO... No real advice but you are not alone! I'm also waddling around the house during the night

How far along are you Stacey?
It's so hard I was so naive thinking pregnancy would be a doddle how wrong was I? I know it's going to get worse as the weeks go on lane (my fella) is even contemplating buying a memory foam mattress to see if that helps bless him!
Oh Liz it seems sooo long away to get a decent night sleep then only another 19 weeks to go if she comes on time I can't even get comfy on sofa and lane has got rid of our corner sofa and bought us a 3 seater and 2 seater leather recliners just as corner sofa was too low and I found it hard to get off, good job she's more than worth it xx

I've dodged all the washes and getting people dressed I avoid those wards if I can help it or just get help so everyone's a double haha.
I've found laying on my left ok but it's starting to hurt. I'm up 3 times in the night for the loo . If I lay on my right I just keep getting kicked by baby.

Awww bless I can't lay on my right it feels like too much pressure so I'm not sure if that's where she mainly lies so I'm either on my left or sat up trying to sleep xx

Oh she definately favours my right. I feel her pushing up against It and it's the the only side I feel kicks. I can't wait to tummy sleep again.

I'm with you on that I've always slept on my tummy, I've seen like a lilo for pregnant women with gold cut out for bump to fit through so can sleep on tummy I'm rather tempted lol x

I'm 21 weeks on Friday holli. Feels like ages to go!
Word of advice though I had a memory foam mattress with my first and it was awful. I couldn't turn over lol

to be fair you have been having a pretty bad time of it! My first pregnancy was a breeze, my second awful all through, my third is turning out hopefully average - awful first tri, second tri so far so good!

I can’t get comfy either and I wake every hour to turn over, and the act of turning over is agony for my pelvis. I have physio on Thursday but I think that will only help with the pelvis pain and won’t make any difference to the ache in my hips when I sleep. I never thought this would be such a problem this early on, can’t imagine how it’s going to feel when I’m 8/9 months!

I'm glad I'm not on my own and it's not just me being over the top! I get up aswell as I don't want any pressure sores I've seen first hand at work just how easy they start and how easy they turn nasty so as soon as the pain gets to much I'm either sat up or get up and walk around bedroom trying not to wake lane up xx
