im cooking my second ever roast tomoz and i wanna make it 'different'

im doing roast chicken with garlic and crispy skin
but i wanna do summit different to something else i am cooking so ne ideas please share

im doing Roast potatos
roast parsnips
carrots and swede
and greens
 
A bit of mash lol... not very amazing, but you could try adding some herbs to it. :D
 
get some sausage meat and streeky bacon and make pigs in blankets.
 
get some sweet potato and mash it adding in spring onions yummy!! You could do your potatoes with olive oil and salt and pepper in the oven to make them extra crispy and a little bit different. Or you can never go wrong with cheesy mash!!!!

Or get some d'jon mustard and some clear honey, mix small amounts in a bowl tasting as you go till you get a lovely honey and mustard glaze, then brush on the parsnips before roasting.

Also, if you are doing brussells, you can put them in a wok (once they are cooked) with some red onion and garlic butter and give them a toss or 2....hmmm delicious!
 
do cheesy mash (its lovely mmmmmmmmmm)

and do some nice crispy yorkshires too
 
Mashed sweet potato and carrot with a bit of butter :cheer:
