anyone having problems finding coats that fit, mine wont zip up anymore and its freezing at the moment.been in the town today to look for a new one no look :( to fit round my bump there massive in the arms and shoulders

I bought a long cardigan instead. Goes down to my knees and is lovely and warm and worked out cheaper than a new coat. Looks good when I'm dressing up smarter to go out or just zooming to the shops. So has multiple uses :)

I got a Marks & Spencer coat new off ebay just before I found out about the baby, and it has just a single button under the breat so still fits nicely and was only £15. Also got two long Jane Norman jumpers in the sale in Debenhams for a tenner which are keeping me very snug! x

I had a big weight loss because I got pregnant so luckily most of my clothes are bigger so I am starting to fill into my coats again.

I found New Look, had a really good selection of maternity clothes at a bigger branch, and they arn't expensive either.
They seem to be getting in all the summer stock now so look in the sales for a coat.

yeh i saw a lovely coat in new look and it was only about £10 in the sale!

Just do up as many of the top buttons as you can, wear a bump band to stop your belly getting cold and then put on a scarf with a long drapy bit over where the gap in the coat is.

I did the same as BabyBee and bought a BIFFCOAT ski jacket type thing at the beginning of December. It was a size 12 so normally two sizes too big, but like you any bigger and it looked ridiculous round the shoulders etc.

Anyway it's done me literally until this week when it won't zip up over my bump (but I am large for my dates I think).

I just got a new maternity coat in the sale in New Look for £15 (reduced from £55) - worth a look? No doubt it's shoddy quality but it'll do me for my birthday tonight and a Christening next week - and it's way smarter than the BIFFCOAT I've been wearing.

Your other option, like Sherry says, is to get a cardie/fleece that fits well. I got a Next maternity fleece from Ebay way back when I was 6 weeks and I've lived in it since. It's very warm and comfy and fits over my bump. Which is a challenge for any item of clothing at the moment!!

Really good luck finding something xxx

I have a shawl. I do my coat up to the top of my bump and then wrap my shawl around me. Keeps me nice an warm!
