Brody used to sleep a lot more in our bed, but I have recently moved him into his own cot instead of the travel cot next to our bed. (then I used to bring him into our bed to feed him and we'd end up falling to sleep.)
I'm no longer BFing either as of this week, so I don't have to lift him in.
When he woke yesterday at 5.30 am he was reaching for the door of his room and crying, I knew what he wanted... to come into bed with me...but I think he's been quite dependant on it in the past so I put him in his cot and stroked his tum till he went back to sleep...he settled right away.
