so whos co-sleeping?

Do you have LO in with you all night?
Just at the start of the night?
From the middle of the night?
Just first thing on a morning/early hours?

We started off co sleeping and it can vary as to when and for how long she is in with us but the last three nights Ive put her in her moses basket after her bed time feed at 10.30 and then after her other feed about 3-4am ish and shes slept right through! (DH not been very well so put her in moses basket)

Seems she is more settled in her basket and if she needs a cuddle in with us I bring her in....but shes sleeping more in her basket.

Just wondering what everyone else does and should I be still putting her in her basket if we're co sleeping or does it not matter?

Thanks in advance xxx

Hey, We co-sleep just as and when really. When she was littler, I used to put her in her moses basket after last feed and she'd sleep till we went to bed, then she'd wake for another feed and generally not settle very well though the night so bought her in with us.

Now she's a bit older, she settles really well and it's only if she has the odd unsettled night (teething/tummy ache - she doesn't poo very often!) that I bring her in with us for a bit of comfort.

Not sure if tehre are any 'rules' apart from the safety aspect which are obviously very important! I just go with what makes Ella happy :)

Enjoy it though, I love having her in for snuggles with me!

Hey hon,
Hope ur good :)

I put Elliot into his cot after his 10:30 feed but when he wakes in the night -usually about 4 ish but can be as early as 2:30 or as late as 6, I bring him into bed and feed him lying down and he stays there until we wake up. Did the same with Harrison and it worked for us. Harrison is now 2 and a half and spends all night every single night in his own bed no problems at all (although it was hard to get him to stay there initially.

I guess I don't totally co-sleep but bubs is in for part of each night. It's lovely bonding imo and won't last forever. I'd say do what works for u and Matilda - lert her sleep where she and you are happiest...if you're anything like me u will be happy as long as she is so be led by her.

Hope that helps?

Hiiiiii! Good to see you :) We co-sleep! When he was shiny new we slept with him in our bed all night. When he started setting his own routine we started to put him in his cot (or Moses basket in his cot) and then when he woke up for first feed he got in with us and that's how it goes now. If she sleeps better in her basket then maybe it's better for her to sleep in there? Seb sleeps well anywhere but if he slept better in his cot then that's where he'd stay, we just love co-sleeping so much :) lol x

Hi ladied thanks for your replies.........

Im good thanks karen hope your all well too.... Yeah I think its a kind of play it by ear thing isnt it.....she came in with me at 6am this morning but again slept all night in her moses basket so will do just that and play it by ear!

I do love her being in with us tho especiall as Ive mastered the art of feeding her lying down but need to get this thrush cleared up from her mouth and my boobs before I can crack on feeding her properly but yes its lovely having cuddles with them isnt it xxx
