Morning ladies!

I have horrendous wisdom toothache and need some sort of relief. I took some paracetamol yesterday that didn't do anything so looking for something else for relief even if it's for 5 minutes! I have clove oil..... Is this ok to use? Tried googling it and found too many scaremongering threads!

Xx

I've heard many swear by clove oil for tooth ache
No idea how to use it though!

I normally just rub it around the tooth giving me pain but was sure if it can be used when pregnant? Xx

I wouldn't have thought Clove Oil would be a problem. But if you're unsure and don't want to watch until you can contact your GP or midwife, perhaps call the non-emergency number and see if they can advise you?

I generally go by the NHS website when it comes to what I can and can't do - yes other sites and forums can advise, but generally I've found anything other than the NHS is like you said, a lot of scaremongering!

I'm going to ring soon I'm in absolute agony. I've tried more paracetamol but it's not touching it now. I've got a headache and feel a bit shakey too :( could honestly cry my eyes out!! Xx

Hopefully they can offer some advice! Otherwise, another option would be any pharmacy, as pharmacy staff are just as able to advise on what is safe during pregnancy I think!
