Cloth Nappies

Ah ok I see where you're coming from, it would kind of give you two jobs rather than one if you were using reuseable of one thing and disposable of another.

Do you soak everything first before putting it in the washing machine or does it all just go in there as is? I'm mainly thinking of mega poo days and wondering whether I'd feel like that had all come out if it hadn't been soaked first x

No never soak anything.

Just do a decent wash and the poo is on a liner anyway which are flushable or can be binned

We use cloth and it's easy :-)
Used disposables at first for the meconium poos, but they don't go on for long.
We started with sized little lambs with reusable liners and wraps (always a deal on those on the fillyourpants.com site or nappy lady). Short at the back though, so if you have a tall baby, boys in particular, a poo explosion might escape!
Moved onto totsbots birth to potty for day and bamboozles with wrap for night now she's the size up. Less bulky for her crawling and trying to walk, but still brilliantly effective :-)
We also use reusable wipes. Go for it if you want to do it, don't be put off my those who don't know how easy it actually is once you get into it!

Ordered a nappy. Well got to start a collection somewhere!! Xx

Ours came yesterday, they're so cute and very soft for baby's bum!

I've been practising putting them on teddies lol!!
