Cloth Diapers??

This is my first pregnancy and I am pretty sure I am going to use cloth diapers. I want to use prefolds because they are cheaper and don't seem that complicated. I was looking for some feedback on cloth diapers, and I have a few questions:

If you've tried prefolds with a cover did you like them? Were they hard to get used to? Any feedback on these prefolds?

Did your diapers hold up the entire time (did they start to smell, fade, or break down)?

Have you tried Bummis Super Whisper Wraps for covers? Feedback? Did they fit a newborn?
