how do you go about it? jesus before now iv just bit them but they are becoming too hard now so i just tried clipping them and this is harder than contemplated, tried lieing down tried sitting up in the end i lay him on the floor with my leg wrapped round his arm (i promise i am not a bad mum :rotfl: ) and managed it but there has to be an easier way wrestleing my 5 month old to the floor and putting him in an arm lock seems a bit extreme    it had to be done i look battered and bruised form his constant nipping and scratching

wait till hes asleep and use a pair of good sharp nail scissors.

wait till he is a big 2 yr old that screams and i mean screams the house down, me and paul have to restraine sophie to do her nails, just as well we are both trained in control and restraint :rotfl:

i would do what Budge suggests hun

I use baby nail sissors and clip Thea's nails when she is alseep.

i cant believ this you lot are trained professionals and do it easily and i have wrestled my little boy to the ground put him inn apin and put his arm in my leg lock to stop from cutting him, he didnt cry but hes such a wriggler, broke oput into a sweat and everything

i bite jamies and mine off, wouldnt go near OH's feet lol!!! :puke: :rotfl:

i bite tias off too, i did try baby nail clippers and i think they are dangerous cos i caught the top of her finger and didnt realise   x

I just get Arianna interested in something and clip them. I tend to clip the corner and pull it.... sound horrible I know... but her nails are too hard to bite now, yet too soft to clip properly.

I tried to do it when she was asleep but she always moves her arms through her sleep so it was a nightmare!

I hate clipping them as well. I do it while lying down and feeding Ellie. If she is feeding she moves her arms around a bit less. Good luck.

I use baby nail scissors on Zac and do it in his sleep.

They are great cos they are blunt on one side and lie flush with his finger so no chance of cutting his skin!

Like Budge and Mica, I could never bite his nails off makes me feel queasy
