clear liquid from nipples (TMI)

Sorry to be so blunt ladies but I know you'll understand

To be honest I originally thought this was just sweat until this morning, it's been going on for a few days now.

Clear water ty[e liquid seeps out from my nipples, esp when I squeeze them. Is this a normal thing?

Hormones! thats what it is, i have had this through my IVF cycle and up until now, so i wouldnt worry mine also leak on there own, i had a circle of wet the other day but i was indoors so that was ok, it happened with my other pregnancies too but not until later on, its normal.

Yep sounds normal to me.. at least I hope it is coz I have had it too! Get a bit more liquid now than when it first started (at around 20 weeks) and sometimes now creamy rather than clear, but still only when I squeeze them (although I have been told not to do this as it means they are more likely to leak!) Joys of pregnancy hey.

Try not to worry this is perfectly normal

I have had loads of this through out my pregnancy and still do
towards the end .

I know sometimes it can be a pain as your nipples always feel wet
even when there not lol .

I have had it some days where its been quite alot that has leaked and other days where there is only tiny amounts .

Once it drys it drys to white flakey bits which is like dandruff if you have noticed .

Its called colostrum and is a proven, effective immune system booster for baby.

I dont think it is advisable to mess with/squeeze your nipples as it can produce hormones which can trigger uterine contractions (plus if you are anything like me- it bloody hurts )

Also the more you squeeze them the more it produces..! I don't get it every day, just every few days. If it gets a lot, get in some breast pads already i'm lucky it's not been that much for me.
