Just to let you know I had a text from Claire at 13:16..

Update 1:
Just had another text from Claire...
"Hi they have just put the gel in and done a stretch and sweep which wasn't very comfortable and made me bleed just being monitored now and had to wait for specialist to come and do it"
come on baby!!!!!! hope the contractions start for you hun!!

Update 2:
Had a text from Claire at about 5pm and she said nothing much is happening except a few cramps. Haven't heard anymore but will update as I get news.......hope things get moving for you hun!

Update 3:
Had another text from Claire this morning at 715am....
"Hi Second gel initially seemed to be working but has stopped now! Getting my waters broke later to get things moving again having a lot of tightenings and period like pains and back ache not slept great my eyes look blood shot like taz! Hurry up Adam!"
Poor Claire I cant imagine how frustrating it is to be induced and waiting for it to work.. Hope they have broken her waters by now and things are moving along for her...

Just had another text from Claire..... think she's having a tough time of it, poor lass
"sorry not been in touch sooner had a pretty hard time in alot of pain so not been able to text. had gas and air and epidural twice as first one came out with me itching. i'm so tired about to start pushing soon"
poor claire...... lets hope the wee man makes an appearance very soon!

BABY ADAM IS HERE!!!! Just received a text from Claire....
"Baby Adam Daniel was born at 6.03pm weighing 7lb 1oz, he is absolutely beautiful i love him so much already"
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS CLAIRE!!!!
and a warm welcome to Baby Adam
