Can anyone point me in the right direction have looked on ebay and hubby and I just dont like most of them on there, he doesn't want satin and I dont want a suit as he will only be 5 months i want him in something baby like.

Anyone recommend anywhere to try have tried Sarah Louise etc

Have you got any little boutique type shops near by? I got a gorgeous little outfit from a little shop that sells wool and that type of thing, it was pricey though..

I really like the rompers and I've seen some sailor suit rompers that look gorgeous! John Lewis has some in and m&s and debenhams! X

I'm so in the same boat Kellylou! Joe will be about 5 months when he is baptised too! Think me and hubby have agreed on a romper coz he didn't want a gown & I didn't want a suit.

Have you tried mothercare? I was in there recently & they had a romper in an ivory colour for about £25 and it was lovely. It was also in like a silk type material (could have actually been silk, but not sure re price), not satin. Hope that helps x

both mine went in a suit but on my youngest ds we actually got a cream suit which was much nicer im glad im having a girl this time as the girls are so easy

Like someone else said, random shops seems to be best. My lo was 5 months, and he wore a little suit, it was so cute! I just didn't want him in a gown and didn't know what else!
When I looked online I couldn't find anything but had a look in one shop and found a gorgeous little outfit x

We're getting Evie a little christening gown from Next - best that i've seen out of every shop I looked in! My friend bought her son a little christening suit from mothercare that was quite nice, I have seen better boys christening outfits elsewhere though x
