Child tax credit

I am sure there is already a thread about this but i cant find it....

When did everyone apply for their child tax credit? Whats the earliest you can apply?

I am dreading it....from previous threads it sounds horrendous!

i was thinking the same thing, i think (or so my SIL says) we have to wait till registered the babys birth cos they need to see proof of DOB when u claim,

dont take my word for it tho, cos she tends to get things wrong, lol

U can't claim it til after bubs is born, ideally u need to send ur claim for child benefit off 1st cos they use the cb info to check babies details on the claim xxx

i'm just applying for it now. u need 2 have ur child benefit sorted 1st as u need the reference number from that
