Sorry tri hopping again!
What would you recommend for crib in bedroom? I liked the idea of chicco next to me and I know this sounds silly but worried it will be difficult to transfer them to their own room after 6 months because they will be so used to having me right beside them? I am a first time mum so no idea really?!
Any recommendations? c

I dont have any experience as i am a first time mum.
But i considered the 'next to me' but have now gone for the Chicco lullago crib, similar to the next to me but the side doesnt come down. Got it for £70 on Bounty offers so less than half the price of next to me.
Also has a see through mesh panel meaning u can see baby by glancing over.
I also have concerns that the next to me wouldnt fit to a divan base and i also have a sensor mat which apparently u cant use with the side down on the next to me.
A friend had just put her 2 month old from moses to a wooden swinging crib but he keeps banging his arms on the bars and waking up, she doesnt want to use bumpers due to safety issues so wishes she had gone for something like the Chicco cribs.
The Lullago is a lovely soft material and we intend to put baby in there from the off!
Dunno if this helps, sorry for the long post! Lol x

I didn't bother with either, just took the side off the cot! Even though the minimum recommended age to move bubs into their own room is 6 months, the closer to 12 months they are before they move into their own room, the better for them.

We have the Chicco next to me with the sensor mat and it works fine with the side down. Our bed isn't a divan though. I love the crib although we had to get a sleepyhead insert for it as I think the crib was just too big for our little one as she was used to being squished in the womb.

We initially ordered Chico next to me before realising the side has to be either constantly up or constantly down - sent it back and got a snuzpod instead. Side zips up and down easily / nice soft mesh material for baby / solid wood construction and can be taken off stand to use as Moses basket downstairs if you wanted.

Take a look

(I don't sell these honest ) just my favourite purchase!!

Xxx

I just used a Moses basket which was easy to transport everywhere!

My son was in his own room at 8 weeks and slept through from 8 weeks to 4 months - I think it was his dad's snoring

The next to me cribs do look good. If they were more mobile and I knew they would be in that next to me long term I'd have bought one this time around - but i already have a Moses basket from my son :)

We have the bednest which was rented from there site for 7months. It has been by best buy ever. Wish I had it for my first. Will be so sad see it go soon.
