chemical preg?

Finally, enough courage to ask about this. Been weighing on my mind. I had all the symptoms of BFP and I was late by a couple of days, was just about to do HPT but then AF came....but I've never had such a long or painful time with such clots (sorry TMI) and wonder if it was a chemical preg Does anyone know how I can find out if it was or not? If I do a HPT will it come out positive if I was? Would like to know for sure as if it was at least I'll know that I can do it! x

I dunno, personally, i don't think so.

You will never know for certain, but i think it is unlikely.

Everyone has symptoms whether they are pregnant or not, so they don't mean anything.

People can also be late unexpectedly for no reason.

As for the clots and pain, you really wouldn't have been pregnant enough i don't think to experience any side effects - normally chemical pregnancy pass without notice.

It is possible that a test might still come out positive but you have to be quick.

i think i had a chemical my tests showed positive for 3 weeks and i passed alot of clots but you will never know unless it still coming up on the test. Sometimes its best not to know x

Try not to worry. I had a chemical pregnancy this month. Got 3 positive tests and then negative the next day. My AF was a lot lighter than normal but then came back a day after i thought it had stopped. Really wish I hadn't known I was pregnant in one way cos it feels awful after having a MC earlier this year but in another way it means that I have been able to ask the doctor about getting some tests done now. Don;t know if you can find out if you were pregnant but you could mention it to your doctor just incase it happens again. Good luck. x
