My LO is 3 weeks old tomorrow and exclusively breastfed! Up until now her pois have been very loose and yellow/mustard in colour! Today she had one which was yellowy/ greeny but much thicker almost like a paste- also looked almost like it had bits of food in? X

I think poo does tend to get thicker as they get older. 'Peanut butter' is normal, if it looks more like jelly or snot (sorry but it's the best way to describe it) it is mucus which is a sign of an irritated tummy. Were the bits little white lumps, like cottage cheese? That is undigested milk and is quite common. Green tends to suggest a slightly upset tummy but isn't anything to worry about if it's a once off.
