baby poo- normal?

i BF and my babys poo is normally yellowy-brown and like curry paste.
just changed her nappy i noticed little green bits in it. is this ok or could she be ill? she seems fine otherwise.

Trixi - was it you that was having problems with crying too?
Don't want to jump to conclusions but if so you could google MSPI for details of milk and soya protein intolerance.
One of the symptoms is green, spinach-like poo.
Prob not this but worth a look maybe?

I am also BF and my baby went through a stage where her poo was all green ......... both HV and Doc said that it ws nothign to worry about and that baby poo can be from mustard yellow to avocado green without anything to worry about it....

A week or so later it went back to yellow.

Keep an eye on it, and if you're worried ask your HV.

It's probably just something you've eaten which has disagreed with her....

Sometimes Alex's poo is like this if he's been having quick feeds and getting a lot of fore milk and not very much fatty milk, as he's got older this has happened less frequently.
