Cervix questions

So I started doing the cervix checking thing....finally! It's so weird. I have no idea how low is low, but last night (cd6) it seemed at least partly open and softish. What does it feel like when fertile? (I have lots of EWCM today) I felt it after AF when it was a bit lower and like the end of a nose.

Should I dtd as soon as it's a bit open or wait til it's fully open?

Can't believe I've not done this before..seems like the easiest way to gage fertility.

How long does it stay open?

My cycles are around 25/26 days and I can ovulation between cd9 and cd13. Obviously it's early at cd7 and we don't usually dtd until cd9 but I'm wondering if we should today given the EWCM and cervix situation....

Hi.. so i struggled with this for ages, it takes time to get used to..
youll know when its high , soft , open its very obvious.
For me, high is barely can reach it so hard to..
open is open! haha and soft is again very obvious..
id say low is no issues at all to reach, medium is moderate difficulty.
Im sorry im probably not helping! i think tbh everyones is different, keep checking and youll learn what yours is soon
I have no idea how long stays open for tho. And i tend to like dtd when either a bit open or especially when very open.
Also, cervix isnt a very good indicator as it moves about thruout the day, all this ever can be is a Guide.

Hi I hope you don't mind me hijacking a little bit but I'm also new to checking my cervix and am having issues with the openness thing... I've had 2 children already and my cevix is always "open" feels about a cm dilated all the time. Do I just guage on position and firmness instead?
