I've been checking my cervix for the last 2 or 3 months so I'm still new to it and getting the hang of it. I do struggle to feel changes between wether it feels firm or soft, I usually log it as medium unless it's very obvious. I logged around ovulation it was soft and since then it's logged as medium. This morning it was definitely firm. I'm now cd 24 and 8 dpo. I've just checked again and it feels medium/soft. Can it change so much in 3 hours?! I've never felt a difference in a day and I do check 2 or 3 times a day, just so I can feel any changes while I'm learning. I know cp isn't a great indicator of ovulation and pregnancy, but I'm just trying to get to know mine. I wondered if anybody had noticed anything similar and then had a bfp?
I woke up feeling very hungry and quite sick this morning, although this has recently become a symptom of impending af too so that possibly means nothing. I'm just in the 2ww and looking into everything.

Hi Wren,
Sorry cant get to offer much advice because I have only really started to check my own in the last few weeks, especially when I was in the 2WW as well lol. Mine was low and firm and AF arrived so Im at the start of a new cycle now.

However I did read that if conception and implantation did occur, womens CP can completely vary. It can remain high and soft for several weeks or it can go back down straight away and be firm. I think just every womans is different!

Hi, yes, it can change that much in 3 hours, mine varies throughout the day. That's why they tell you to check at the same time each day so you can monitor the differences.

The twice I was pregnant (both losses) it was extremely soft right before my bfp, there was no mistaking it, it was almost mushy.

Thank you for your replies. I'm pretty sure I'm out this month anyway x
