You get a lot of wet, almost fertile looking CM in early pregnancy - Its totally normal. In the early days of pregnancy, mucous begins to accumulate around the opening of the cervix to form the mucous plug, a barrier that helps protect the baby. A result of this mucous formation is increased vaginal discharge, and it often looks like egg whites....When you lose this mucous plug (a show)in the later stages of pregnancy, it will often have an egg white consistency.
