Center Parcs Help please.

Me and DH went to Center Parcs back in September and had such a fab time, that we will be going back next year! What we are having trouble with is deciding which parc to go too so I thought that I would ask you ladies for your opinions We went to the Longleat one and want to try one of the others so the question is which one do you recommend?

I've only been to the Suffolk one and thought it was gorgeous. My sister just got back from Nottingham. She hasn't said anything about it but heard no complaints.

I've been to Sherwood and Longleat and they were both great. I liked the pool better at Longleat but I liked the overall feel of Sherwood a bit better. It's been around longer and feels a bit more "established" if you know what I mean.

I voted Whinfell We were just there in October, it was our first time at CP and we loved it! Would go back tomorrow if we could. Plus the fact that its not too far for you to travel

I just got back from from a weekend at the Sherwood one today, so I was quite interested in this thread!

I have been to Whinfell and Sherwood and I would definately vote Whinfell! I have been there loads and I love it. The lodges are lovely and the free pool is HUGE with loads of little pools and whirlpools to go exploring. The main centre is all under one roof which is handy if the weather is inclement. There is also entertainment on an evening if that is your type of thing (you have to pay though!!)

Sherwood is nice too, but the main centre is smallish and outdoors. Not really too much of an issue, but it was a pain this weekend when we had to dress our baby up in millions of layers after swimming just to go over the way to the restaurant and undress her again! We stayed in a comfort lodge this time (the cheapest ones) which were very nice considering - but the bedrooms got very very cold. At one point it was 12 degrees in our room!!

I think which ever parc you go to, it is worth paying a little bit more and getting at least a comfort plus lodge or better because the new decor is really nice and you get nice perks like a dishwasher, dvd player and fluffy towels!

ive only been to the suffolk one, but we're going again in 3 weeks

i haven't been to whinfell, but between notts and suffolk, suffolk definitely wins

were going to cumbria on 15th dec and nottingham in feb. never been before though

the one in cumbria has evening entertainment though i think

Thank you all for your help We are going to go to the Suffolk one as that is the one that we did want to go to (have heard it has the biggest pool) and the votes are in favour as well

To everyone going to go to Center parcs have a fab time ( I know you will) and I am soooo jealous of you
