I know there's a couple of girls now in 1st and 2nd tri who were charters to the core but I just wanted to ask if any of you are charting your temps through your pregnancies???

If not how long did you chart for after you got your BFP's??

I've still been temping since I got my BFP almost 3 weeks ago and I'll be 7 weeks pg later this week and I'm thinking that it's time I put my thermometer away but I just can't bring myself to to do it!! :rotfl:

I like seeing all my high temps and when I'm getting a high temp each morning it's reassuring me that everything is ok.

Is anyone charting throughout pregnancy???

Hi

First time I fell preggers I kept charting for 7 weeks but lost my baby. This time I thought I could do without the stress plus it didn't give me any warning the time before so I just dumped it quite early. I know it's hard to let go of though isn't it. I can't wait to be ttc again to get back to charting.

My last month is on the link below my ticker so you can see I gave it up quite early this time, but if you want to scroll down you should be able to see all the way back to last Feb when I just kept on charting.

Hope you are feeling well and congrats on your little bean

Sorry, just checked and it doesn't scroll that far down, I guess it's because I no longer pay the subscription.

i was but iv stopped now.... i was still new at it and i was finding it was causing me to wake up at all times in the night so i stopped as i didnt feel it was necessary. i also wasnt sure if my temp was meant to stay high all pregnancy?? so i was scared if it dropped i would worry etc...
i think ur just in a habit :)

Thanks Becs

It is hard to stop....I'm actually starting to worry that I am addicted!! :rotfl:

I'm feeling not too bad at the minute.... very tired, very sore bbs and nausea on and off for most of the day is about all at the minute.

i think the reason I was still charting is becasue I thought I would get a temp dip if something was going wrong but based on your experience it doesn't so I'm definately scrapping it now!

Yeah best not to know about temp dips, you will just stress for no reason.

It's really exciting whenever I see chart stalkers moving into first tri, i still look at that thread loads even though i don't post.

I hope your first tri zooms by.

I'm glad you asked as I've been taking my temps and last couple have been a little lower (from 36.9 to 36.84 to 36.77), making me worry.

I think as soon as I get the highs again I'm going to put it away (i sound like a gambler!)

I agree, it's reassuring though!

xx

I charted until I got my 18 high temps, then stopped. I did, however, continue to POAS (about once a week) up until my first scan at 8 weeks. Once I had that scan I felt able to stop...

It's really hard, esp. when you've been TTC'ing for so long!

I think I went to 18 DPO for proof to back up my tests :) I stopped because I was so tired, I wanted to sleep right up until 15mins before I was due to leave the house

I am impressed that you kept charting Chrissy :D

I stopped at 16 dpo as I got up to go to the loo the following day and forgot to take my temp first, I didn't want a gap in my chart so stopped.

Plus I remember from my first pregnancy that it really stressed me out when my temp dipped after getting my BFP so from personal experience I felt it was more likely going to cause me more stress to continue charting.

Instead I became addicted to poas for a few days :D

I am the same as Bagpuss. For my first pregnancy I got so stressed out when my temperatures dropped that this time I stopped charting at around 16dpo. I just need sleep!!
