carrycot question

I've got my eye on a Hauck Infinity so far. Would the carrycot be suitable for the baby to sleep in, or should I still buy a moses basket as well?
I never had a carrycot for James so I haven't a clue how comfy they are

my sister used to sleep my oldest nephew in his s/c carrycot after he grew out of the moses basket and she was sorting a cot out
