Hmmmmmm well we had two beautifully dressed little carol singers at our door this pm. I was right in the middle of cooking our tea, and I'm absolutely shattered atm, so I just said, "It's too early!" Their dad was waiting at the bottom of our drive just walked away and expected the kids (about 4 and 5) to follow him. I felt so awful, especially as I felt so grumpy, and thought "I'm going to be such a horrible mummy", but then to be honest, it IS too early for me lol. What do you reckon? (not about the mummy bit, the carol singers lol) I'm prepared to have my mind changed.....

Bit early for me - up to a week before Christmas is cool but otherwise I start to get a bit bored of hearing them and I like them to still sound novel on Christmas Day if that makes sense.

im sorry but i cant be botherd with that and you dont even get a thanks for it, same with haloween they dont want fruit or sweets the cheeky beggers ask for money

The worst thing was feeling so guilty because these children were absolutely gorgeous - I love being pregnant, but I'm soooooo hormonal sometimes. At the end of the day all I was dong was saying no (which I'm going to need plenty of practice of lol) but it felt awful (I'm a whimp......).

That s very funny lolololol - I love carols nearer the time, and once went out carol singing for charity, which was fun as there was a whole group of us. So I hope people carry on singing them, just not on my doorstep this early lol.

i think it was to early i like it wen u get carol singers on xmas eve makes it realli xmassie they still dont get ne dosh lol im a tight get lol

yes its too early. its not christmas yet :talkhand:

i like them to come round christmas eve.

I don't mind 'proper' carol singers coming round now - the ones doing it for charity. We had the local lions club float round on Saturday and it was great - everybody came out on to the street and joined in with them.

Teenagers and kids can %&$% off this early though. Charlotte answered the door to some last night and said 'it's not bloody Christmas yet' and slammed the door on them

Yeah I'm with you on the charity ones - I like the brass bands around this time of year, think the Salvation Army was at our big Sainsbury's the other day which was lovely. :rotfl: at Charlotte - what a star!

too early you can rest assured the little ones that come out with their dads this earley is for his beer money :rotfl:
