I went into babies r us.I was good I didnt buy anything but what I did do was start a gift card.Its like plastic card type thing and you just add money to it when you have it and use it whenever you want within 24months.theres no charge for the card and you can top up whenever and you dont have to use it in all one go.So if your like me and are superstitious about buying just yet its a way of saving.you can also join there club and get free mags and money off vouchers.

ohhh i said to my mum about doing this but not that many places do the gift cards really. well not places that sell baby stuff anyway!

no its not like there gold card you get the vouchers through their gold card.this is like a savings card.you put some money on there as and when and then you spend it when you need something.for example im saving for a cot and buggy.Im putting a little bit on the card each time i pass,when babies nearly here ill take the card to the shop and get my buggy and cot (hopefully)with the money ive saved on the card.
