Car boot sale

So hubby and I did our first car boot sale today!!

We had cleared baby's room, which was just a dumping ground really lol, and filled 4 boxes with stuff to sell.
It was hard going tbh. The early start (we arrived there at 7.30am), the uncomfy seat (the boot of the car lol) and the heat were not a good mix. But we made almost £100!!
We were there for around 5 hours. People will literally buy ANYTHING!!! Lol.

Still have some stuff left over so might do another one in a couple of weeks.
But I was worried about LO in the heat. She's wriggling around so I know she's fine but its still worrying, I'm burnt to a crisp lol.

Anyway, pointless thread really, but its £100 we can use to buy baby stuff, and I just thought I'd share x

Well done, I've never had much luck with bootsales, but sound like you found a good one. I think I need all 34 weeks I have left to sort LO's room and the rest of the house, so I might steal your idea in a few months (or buy another shed lol).

Well done an extra £100 can't be grumbled at! People always buy baby stuff at boot sales so I know I'll be doing a few in years to come x

Oh wow that's fab!! We actually went to a boot sale today. Managed to actually get up and dressed before 8am lol!!
I got a slumber bear (designed to help baby sleep as it makes the womb sound) for £5 brand new!! And a few Lamaze toys.
So I'm well happy!! Just need to give them all a wash xx

Yeah I really recommend taking ur bric-a-brac to a car boot sale. We never thought we'd make £100!! We've decided we're gona pay it off our pram which we got in mothercare using their baby plan.

So I'm exhausted, burnt and my feet and ankles have swollen up, but all in all, I think today was pretty successful lol x
