Lately i have noticed a very strong repulsive smell when my partner showers. We have to have the fan on and window open for about an hour after he gets out of the shower. He has started only using my shampoo and body wash but that hasnt made a change. It seems the cleaner he is the stronger the bad smell! Today i was lying on his side of the bed and noticed the smell so strong on his pillows and his side of the duvet and the smell is lingering when he is around. Ive just had my nose covered while i tried to watch tv with him, but it was unbearable. What advice do people have? I love him so much and hate that l cant cope with his smell.

YES! I'm SO glad I'm not alone in this!
I started to absolutely hate his smell, to the point I did my best to avoid him the most I could. When I mentioned it to anyone they looked at me like I was crazy
Unfortunately I have no advice, as we've now broken up and I don't have to put up with the smell anymore! The break up was due to other factors though, not the smell haha

I know its not the same, but all my clean washing (which used to smell wonderful) now smells like mold, but I've literally just washed them and hung them straight up! The worst is towels and its horrible after having a shower and drying myself off with a horrible towel.

I know! Towels stink so bad!

Just thought i would let people know i found the 'source' of the smell. It was the orange squash that he likes to drink. Smells fine when its in a cup, but made him stink. I also think the orange flavouring was mixing with his toothpaste and creating such a horrible smell. Its been 2 days since we realised what was causing it. He has changed to drinking apple blackcurrent and i can stand him again. Phew!

Haha how peculiar! Glad the mystery is solved!
