Can't hear heartbeat with doppler :(

I'm 14wks tomorrow and I haven't been able to hear the heartbeat the last 4 times I've tried, but I could hear it before. I know baby was fine when I had my 12 wk scan, and i still feel preg, got nausea, sore boobs etc. My next mw app not till 14th Feb..has anyone else had probs hearing at this stage?

Hi it was like that with my last child somedays i could hear the heart bet and other days i could. Maybe the baby moved to the back so its less easier to pick up. Am sure theres nothing to wory about. xx

I am 12 weeks and I bought a doppler from week 10. At first it was hard to find and still is as sometimes it takes me 10 mins to find the heartbeat. It is normally very low down towards your pelvic bone. I'm sure everything is fine and you may be just nervous. Try again and let us know how it goes xx

I heard it at 11 and again at 12 wks..i tried for 1/2 hr last night and no luck. I'll give it another go now..

Glad you found it! I always had days when I couldn't find Toby with mine, usually when I was trying to find him for hubby! x

I Know, I don't think mine's very good, it's really crackly even with lots of gel, but it is nice to hear baby before you can feel them. tinytoes have you felt any fluttering yet? i've had a few moments where I thought I might have, but then again I'd not long eaten so might've just been my dinner digesting!

Not yet I thinking it could be a little while as Im quiet heavy since I had Aoibheann ? I cant wait to start feeling something though .

I think you've been really lucky to hear it so early! Midwife told me they don't worry if they can't hear it before 22 weeks. I was finding a heartbeat from 16-22 weeks but only recently discovered it was just my own as I found the actual baby's
