Cant carry a certain sex theory ?

Anyone heard of the theory that some women cant carry a certain sex?
my family are ALL women, bar two boy cousins from one auntie. Out of 23 cousins.
my nan/ mum/ and a couple of cousins have had a few Mc's which they are sure were boys.
My nan has very late losses which were 100% boys and only managed to carry girls to term.
Anyone else heard of this?

I don't think it's a theory, I think it's a fact. I used to work with someone that could only carry girls, when she was pregnant with boys she miscarried but gave birth to two girls. I was under the impression from her that this was a known medical condition but I may be wrong.

Actually probably not a medical "condition", but for a medical reason if that makes sense.

I wonder if it's because girls tend to be stronger? It must be an awful thing to go through.

A friend of mine her mum cannot carry boys as she did lose 2 but carried her girls well.
My friend had her 1st boy at 34 weeks due to loss of waters from 29 weeks and she's having the same problem again this time with her boy

I had two miscarriages both boys and carried a girl to full term. Unsure if it's coincidence or not but a bit scary all the same.

Thanks ladies Ill give that a read, Ive never imagined myself having a son, I've always known ill have girls, Ive just had a MC and ( this may sound corny ) but a psychic told me my first pregnancy would be a boy and the next a girl.
So I wonder if that is it?
