Can I take paracetomol?

I've got a cold at the moment and a really bad headache.

Can I take paracetomol for the headache?

I remember taking it a couple of time in my last pregnancy but that was later on in the pregnancy and not this early so not sure if I can take it and forgot to ask doc today

Yes you can take it - The maximum amount you can take during pregnancy is 4g per day, which is four doses of two 500mg tablets, evenly spaced through the day and night.

paracetamol is safe to take. but only take it if you really need it.
