to my 37 week midwife appointment today?

She has asked to come along to see what happens and to hear the wee ones heartbeat. She also intends to be there at the birth, so Im just wondering what midwifes views are on other people attending the antenatal appointments? Do you think it is a bit inapropriate?

All views welcome, my appointment is at 11.50 this morning.

yeah it should be fine, my sister came to my 40week check up because Brian couldnt get time off work, she got to hear the heartbeat and everything, she thought it was great. i dont see why it should be any different to taking a partner in :D .

Hiya! ive taken both my partner and my mum to midwife visits(on differant occasions) and shes been fine with it, My mums also going to be at the birth with me so i think its helpful that shes been to some midwife appointments with me!!!
