I would definitely ask for another test to be done in 3 months time (this is what i mentioned on your other thread) It could be that this was just a one off. Out of our tests, 2 were done by the NHS as they dont usually like to base anything on 1 test result.
How low was the count? We had 4 tests done and had results of around 2.4 million on 2 of them, 4 million and 44 million (i'm wondering if they put the decimal point in the wrong place for that one though!) As long as there is sperm there then there is always a chance of conceiving. For us that wasn't the case, as i also have issues and dont ovulate. But if all is ok with you then it could happen naturally.
There is really no treatment available to treat male infertility and they will automatically suggest ICSI. I tried putting DH on all sorts of vitamins, but that didn't do anything. I think if a man is very unhealthy, i.e. drinks a lot, smokes, very overweight, bad diet, then changes to lifestyle can sometimes make a difference. My DH doesn't fit into any of those categories though so there was nothing we could do to improve it. I did tell him he couldn't drink at all but as he rarely drinks that was a bit pointless! We tried a supplement called proxeed, we didn't get a test done to see if it made a difference but he started taking it a few months before our 3rd go of ICSI, which worked. I dont think it did much for the count as they would have told us, but maybe it affected the quality as we got the best embryo from that go and it also got us a BFP. Its quite pricey but i guess its worth a go.
