Hi ladies, I am now officially going to be a Feb mum. No choice now- 4 days over due, EDD was 28/01 had MW yesterday who attempted sweep but cervix was still closed! gr8!

Hey K.
Of course you can join us! its a little quiet i n here tho at the moment!
My MW wont do a sweep until a week after due date, mines booked in for the 13th i think. I too just know that im going to go over, had no signs at all and she isnt even engaged yet. Had a bit of period type pain, which im guessing means she may have moved down a little further.
Any way...fingers crossed it'll be your turn soon.

sorry to hear you've still not had your LO. have you discussed induction with midwife?
my midwife told me just minutes ago that they start it here from 10days after EDD

*am hoping i don't go that far*

Thanx for your replies ladies. At my hospital they wont even take a booking until you are 41 weeks for and induction and it wont be done until I am atleast 41 1/2 -42 weeks. I think it's ridiculous, but hey that's the NHS for you.

I hope you two are ok, not long now for you both! xxx
